Negative Space

A Cozy Rock & Roll Space Opera

The galaxy is big. The cargo is questionable. The band is loud.

Jax is a pilot grounded by a broken ego; Sonica is the fierce heart of a band suffocating on a station built of rules. They are each other's desperate miracle, a risky alliance to outrun a stall.

As the engines spool up, the only thing scarier than crashing is trusting a stranger with your dreams.

It’s a love story. It’s a found family. It’s a band trying not to get arrested while saving the galaxy from terrible music.

"I went in expecting noise. I left with a new heartbeat. Negative Space isn't just a band; they are a kinetic event that demands to be felt."

Jax Hammet

The Captain & Pilot
A former courier pilot who traded a predictable corporate future for a broken ship and a shot at the stars. Jax spent months wiping bars at the Asteroid Lounge before recruiting the band to fix his ship, the Dust Devil. He hides his anxiety behind checklists and flight manuals, flying the ship with the same gentle touch he uses on his secret saxophone.
Vibe: Smells of stale coffee, old flight suits, and hydraulic fluid.

Sonica Hasan

Rhythm Guitar & Logistics
The logistical spine of the band. Formerly a logistics manager on Station 0-K, she handles the booking, the credits, and the "adulting." She booked the band’s first off-station gig on Perro and keeps the crew fed and paid. She views the universe as a series of spreadsheets to be balanced and risks to be mitigated, fueled entirely by chai.
Vibe: Smells of spiced chai, warm electronics, and sheer willpower.

Onda Fritz

Bass & Social Engineering
The "Bubblegum Bombshell" who treats social interaction as a contact sport. A former hospitality manager, she can disarm a gangster or charm a bouncer with equal ease. She plays the bass like a weapon and curates the band's "vibe" to ensure they survive the rougher edges of the Fringe.
Vibe: Smells of strawberry gum, expensive shampoo, and intimidation.

McKenzie Ross

Drums & Chief Engineer
A drummer who speaks in torque and tempo. McKenzie spent her days repairing tourist shuttles on 0-K before rebuilding the Dust Devil's engine from scrap. She applies "percussive maintenance" to both drum kits and fuel injectors. She prefers the silence of the engine room to the noise of the bar and is the strongest person on the ship.
Vibe: Smells of engine grease, solvent, and heavy metal.

Banderos Salvidor-Sosa

Lead Vocals & Fabrication
A welder who traded his torch for a microphone to escape the "Normie Dread." Banderos physically built the crew's cabins on the ship before leading them onto the stage. He is the band's kinetic engine, a showman who believes that if you scream loud enough, you can outrun gravity. He brings the drama, the garlic, and the velocity.
Vibe: Smells of hot steel, styling gel, and pure adrenaline.

Tré Augustin

Lead Guitar & Galley Chef
The sonic architect and galley wizard. Tré is obsessed with texture, whether it’s the perfect crunch of a waffle or the fuzz tone of a guitar pedal. He is the band's skeptic, constantly scanning cargo for conspiracies, while simultaneously ensuring everyone is well-fed and the amplifiers don't catch fire.
Vibe: Smells of hot solder, vanilla batter, and warm vacuum tubes.
